International Education and Incubation Programme

Pioneers' School PFR is the first pre-acceleration step for beginner entrepreneurs and technological visionaries. After 3 weeks of intensive English-language workshops, you will build a team, validate the business idea and create an MVP ready for the investment pitch!

PFR School of Pioneers will allow you to meet people with diverse talents, with whom you will create a team ready to build a startup. An intensive program of workshops and mentoring will take you through the entire process of startup building, from generating an idea, through validation and prototyping, to presenting it to investors and accelerators during the Final Gala.

Final Gala

In the beginning, we'll take you to a weekend bootcamp that allows you to team up. During it, you will take part in workshops on personal development, effective group work and project management.

The main part of the program consists of ultra-practical workshops leading through the successive stages of developing a start-up from an idea to business validation, i.e. Lean Model Canvas, Prototyping, Validation, Pricing and Financial Analysis.

After the workshop, the teams continue to build their MVP during remote sprints with the support of mentors. The results of the works will be presented during Demo Day. The best teams will qualify for the Final Gala.

The programme ends with the Final Gala with financial prizes from a pool of PLN 110,000. The Gala will be a chance to meet representatives of accelerators and VC funds, networks.

The sixth edition of the PFR School of Pioneers is built around UN Sustainable Development Goals. When applying to the program you will work on business solutions that correlate with the seventeen areas identified in the UN Agenda.

Who are we looking for?

🧑🏻 When you apply, choose your profile and the role in the team you would like to occupy. 

You may already have an idea for a project or a startup - that's great, tell us about it in your application! If not, you will join team in which you will develop a solution together. Regardless of the path you choose, remember that your idea should evolve, taking into account the perspective and abilities of the members of team with which you will cooperate during the workshops in September.

The best projects are the ones that connect scientists and engineers with the business world. So come to the program with an open mind, don't be afraid to question and synthesize! 

How do I apply?

All you need to do to enroll in the program is to fill out an electronic application form.

The form consist of:

- personal questionnaire;
- CV (CV)
- personal development plan

How to prepare a Personal Development Plan?

In order to prepare a Personal Development Plan, answer the following questions either in the form of a presentation or a short video (up to 2 minutes):

  1. Describe your experiences gained from organizing your own projects/business.
  2. What do you think is particularly important for the success of these types of initiatives?
  3. What technologies and their use interest you the most? Do you have your own idea for a new product or solution?
  4. What motivates you to take action? What is your measure of success?
  5. Describe the current and next predicted stage of your professional life.
  6. What do you need to achieve more and accomplish your goals?

If you qualify for the final group of 50 participants of the PFR Pioneer School, you will be awarded the posibility of gratuitous participation in the business workshops and trainings.

Before the start of the program, you only have to remember about the administration fee: 

  • 350 PLN gross – if you applied between 9 - 29 May (Early bird)
  • 550 PLN gross – if you applied between 30 May - 18 June (Angry Bird)

The administrative cost is to be covered upon receiving the information on admission and is obligatory for each qualified participant, both the applicant and the members of the team.
